International Launch Services, Inc. (ILS) is a joint venture with exclusive rights to the worldwide sale of commercial Angara and Proton rocket launch services. Proton launches take place at the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan while Angara is planned to launch from the Plesetsk and Vostochny Cosmodromes in Russia.
Echostar 21
Echostar 21, formerly known as TerreStar 2, is a geostationary communications satellite built by Space System/Loral company. Equipped with S-band transponders, satellite is tasked with providing mobile broadband services over Europe. The spacecraft, based on SSL’s 1300 bus, will be located at the 10.25° East orbital slot.
