Juno Europa Flyby

T?

NASA’s Juno spacecraft will come within 358 kilometers (222 miles) of the surface of Jupiter’s ice-covered moon, Europa. The solar-powered spacecraft is expected to obtain some of the highest-resolution images ever taken of portions of Europa’s surface, as well as collect valuable data on the moon’s interior, surface composition, and ionosphere, along with its interaction with Jupiter’s magnetosphere.

Juno's New Findings Press Conference

T?

NASA will hold a virtual media briefing to discuss the latest results from the agency’s Juno spacecraft. The science team will reveal new findings that provide the first 3D look at how the planet’s roiling atmosphere operates underneath the top layers of clouds, and how these revelations offer insight into the atmospheres of giant planets elsewhere in the universe.
